The new series introduces the Get Fit campaign, which encourages all South Africans to exercise and to stay healthy by getting people involved, who take responsibility for their own health. This season's episodes also highlight South Africa's Health Heroes, who go the extra mile to make a difference in their communities.

The show provides a platform for many people who are living with HIV to discover that they are part of a vibrant and growing community of people who are meeting and beating the challenges of HIV.

A team of young community journalists in KwaZulu-Natal, the Western Cape and the Eastern Cape, research, write and shoot the series.

Community Media Trust director, Lucilla Blankenberg says, "I'm very excited by this new season of the show because our new host is young and inquisitive and she has the opportunity to meet and question high level members of government on health policies."

The show ensures viewers are up to date with developments in public health policy, such as the fixed-dose combination of antiretrovirals for HIV and changes to the PMTCT (Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission) guidelines. By focusing on real cases, the show uncovers uplifting stories where the public health system uses innovative ways to improve health, but also shows where government is failing to live up to its own policies and tries to find ways for improvement.

"The new season has received positive support from the Department of Health which is making an effort to participate in studio to talk about policy, protocol changes and new developments in health care," concludes Blankenberg.
