Hosted by Sizwe Dhlomo, the sixth episode of MTV base World Chart Express will go on location to Lisbon, Portugal, to capture all the news, glitter, glamour and gossip from Europe's music awards ceremony.
Dhlomo and the MTV base World Chart Express camera crew will be in Lisbon from 1 November to attend the Awards, which take place in the Atlantic Pavilion, Lisbon on 3 November 2005.
The team are planning to capture some exclusive footage for MTV base World Chart Express, including backstage action, interviews with international artists and the Best African Act nominees: Zamajobe, 2-FACE Idibia, Kaysha and 02, and footage from the red carpet as the world's pop royalty arrives.
Dhlomo says: "It hasn't sunk in yet: I get to go and see the sights of Lisbon - one of Europe's most fascinating cities and interview some of the biggest names in the pop music industry. But I do think it is most important not to let the excitement get in the way of me doing my job well."
