More Traffic over African skies

Traffic is excited to announce that it now offers delivery services on two satellites, both IS7 (Intelsat 7) and G11 (Galaxy 11), a new satellite in the Intelsat fleet.
More Traffic over African skies

The addition of G11 to the Intelsat African satellite fleet is an exciting development in the broadcast, multicast and ‘out of home media' industries. G11 has a wider KUBand footprint than IS7, allowing our clients to reach over 15 African countries including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, DRC, Gabon, Cameroon, Uganda and Ghana from one central point, live or delayed live.

Traffic is well into its second year of facilitating and managing digital broadcast networks that include both television and IP distribution over satellite. Capacity over African skies is in much demand and existing satellites are either at capacity or close to. G11 will enable Traffic to grow its current services which include television contribution channels to existing broadcasters Multichoice and Sentech, live corporate communication broadcasts, corporate communication networks, electronic signage platforms and out of home services.
