The new store - on the corner of Stellenbosch Arterial and Sunvalley roads, showcases the brands pioneering concept of providing a one-stop retail environment with fresh and healthy food alternatives.

The store in Stellendale includes a dairy and cheese section, bakery, self-service coffee station, fruit and vegetable island and a variety of essential groceries. The store also provides a selection of ready-made meals perfect for the shopper with limited time. Shoppers can also purchase Freshstop's popular 'breakfast-on-a bun'.

"We entered into a successful partnership with Chevron SA early in 2009 and have since launched more than 30 other convenience stores across the country. We identified a need for a 24-hour convenience offering in Kuils River and our decision to open the first corporate owned convenience store was motivated by the fact that other stores in the area close at 8pm," said Brian Coppin, co-founder and managing director of Freshstop.

Freshstop will be celebrating the launch of the store with a variety of events during the next few weeks. For more information contact +27 (0) 21 903 0104 or go to www.freshstop.co.za.
