Light and lovely rosé from Van Loveren

Reputedly the first wine release worldwide for 2010, the popular Four Cousins Light Natural Sweet Rosé 2010 will be available to wine lovers from Monday 15 February 2010, initially at Ultra Liquors branches nationwide and soon after in other wine retailers and supermarkets.

Van Loveren's Four Cousins range of light wines is said to be the only bottled wine range in SA to carry the Weigh-Less endorsement, making it an another reason to add to the summer cellar.

Phillip Retief, managing director, and one of the four Retief cousins who run the family-owned Van Loveren Vineyards, is very excited by this new association with Weigh-Less. He says, “The light wine market is still in its infancy throughout South Africa. It should offer many growth opportunities and, at the same time, create a point of entry for new consumers into the wine arena. The wines should prove to be very popular, with the trend towards more responsible wine consumption, lifestyle changes and the lower kilojoules for the ‘healthy at heart' consumer. We are very excited about the prospects of this wine and are proud to have partnered with Weigh-Less in bringing consumers South Africa's very first 2010 wine.”

It will retail between R24.99 and R29.99 per 750ml bottle.
