“Retinol Reform is an advanced skincare product for one’s face, neck and décolletage, which has been specially formulated with ingredients such as lactic acid, Aloe Vera and niacinamide, which are known for their anti-inflammatory properties,” says Darden.

Darden began her career as a licensed aesthetician, alongside distinguished dermatologist Dr Erma Benitez, known for her in-depth clinical assessments of severe acne and ability to put patients on a pathway to recovery. In this environment, she gained extensive knowledge of acne and other extreme skin conditions, which serves as the foundation for her transformational methods.

In 2013, drawing from years of clinical expertise and training in the latest skincare innovations, she launched her skincare line, which includes the Retinol Reform cream.

“I first developed Retinol Reform because I couldn't find a product that delivered the benefits of retinol without the typical drawbacks of irritation and dryness. It contains 5% retinol, which is mild enough to use as a part of a home skincare regimen.”

It retails at R1,499 and is available online.
