    Countdown to Vodacom national Journalist of the Year Awards

    The regional winners for the 2006 Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards have all now been announced, and the countdown has started for 29 October 2006, where the national Journalist of the Year winner, as well as the Editor's Choice, will be revealed at an evening event at Vodaworld.

    The person named Vodacom Journalist of the Year will win R100 000 prize and the winner of the Editor's Choice will be awarded a three- months study bursary at the Thompson Foundation in Wales. Each of the regional winners received a cash prize of R5000 and a certificate from Vodacom, and have automatically been entered into the national competition.
