Key purpose:
To build relationships with existing and potential clients, providing valuable insights and guidance. You'll oversee brands to ensure high-quality strategy, ideas, execution, and results by leading creative teams and the production of world-class work.
1) Strategic responsibilities (Clients)
- Define the desired corporate vision and values, using disruption where possible.
- Set the best corporate strategic direction aligned with the vision, using disruption where possible.
- Assist ECDs in building the creative reputation of Hunt Lascaris.
- Ensure all creative output consistently meets the highest quality standards.
- Lead creative teams in producing and crafting original ideas, art direction, and copy in response to briefs.
- Present creative work internally and externally in a clear, professional, and impactful manner.
- Stay aware of current trends and popular culture to remain relevant and contemporary.
- Consistently develop and refine your craft, demonstrating a passion for the work.
- Contribute to awards and recognitions both locally and internationally.
- Maintain good relations with senior members of client teams.
- Work closely with Strategy and account management to manage creative teams' expectations and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Understand clients’ brands and manage projects to support the delivery of iconic work.
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration within the creative department and other departments.
- Develop client relationships to support the delivery of iconic creative work.
- Manage work scheduling efficiently to maximise creative resources and meet client expectations.
- Participate in new business pitches and business development as required.
- Spread positive sentiment and maintain Hunt Lascaris' reputation both internally and externally.
- Be an inspiration and role model.
- Develop the creative department to reflect the changing needs of Hunt Lascaris and its clients.
- Communicate business goals to your teams and articulate the creative contribution to these goals.
- Inspire, coach, and guide creative teams for continuous improvement.
- Create clear and measurable development plans for yourself and your teams.
- Support the proactive recruitment and development of staff.
- Involve yourself in setting departmental objectives and managing budgets.
- Lead accurate recording of work time for yourself and your teams.
- Over five years as a creative director in a leading agency/company with a proven track record of generating, guiding, selling, and producing world-class ideas.
- World-class creative ability.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking.
- Creatively diverse (art, copy, and other).
- Decisive with the ability to articulate ideas simply.
- Technical understanding of TV and content production, including edits, sound, music, voice, and direction.
- Influencer or opinion leader experience, editorial work, poetry, After Effects, 3D rendering, illustration, editing, design, songwriting, sound production, or artistic achievements.
- Inspirational, ambitious, determined, courageous, collaborative, creatively expressive, adaptable, and accountable for the accounts and work managed.
