We're looking for a website developer to build functional and aesthetically appealing websites that fulfil agency expectations to our clients. The incumbent will work on a diverse range of projects with the opportunity to expand their skill set and work with the latest technologies. 

Strong ability to work with Wordpress is essential, along with experience navigating databases, customising complex plugins and troubleshooting post-launch issues. Experience developing with Elementor Pro is essential.

Requirements  

• NQF 5 or higher in Web Design, Web Development or any related field 
• Minimum 3-5 years' agency experience 
• Practical experience in WordPress Design and Development  
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript or jQuery 
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector 
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics 
• Access to reliable internet connection  
• Ability to accommodate customers in multiple time zones

Technical skills  

• Design principles 
• Ideation and branding

• Design for desktop and mobile
• UX and UI design are beneficial
• Able to work independently and manage time efficiently

Knowledge 

• Be creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualise original ideas 
• Have a well-rounded portfolio that showcases individual website design and/or development 
• Good communication skills to accurately convey concepts to clients and team members 
• Be a skilled user of UX software such as Adobe XD, Figma and Origami 
• Experience use of Microsoft 365 Suite and Google Suite 
• Basic knowledge of Cloud servers and cloud infrastructure providers is beneficial (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
