Our client, whose mission is to create applications that ingest customer data from multiple sources, aggregate, manipulate, and transform it based on analytical needs, is looking for a technical data architect. If you are an expert in designing and implementing robust data architectures and passionate about driving the business forward, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the solution architecture, including selecting the tech stack
• Collaborate with business owners and customers to understand their needs
• Manage all aspects of the SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, and compliance standards
• Recruit and build a talented team of developers to support the mission

Qualifications and experience:

• Seven or more years of experience, having recently designed and developed a data platform
• Excellent problem-solving skills across general technology challenges
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in an agile team environment
• Experience building or working on a data platform in a SaaS environment
• Expertise in Python, C#/.NET for data pipelines and API development
• Proficient in RESTful services, microservices architectures, and advanced database design and optimisation (PostgreSQL)
• Experience in writing testable code, including unit and integration tests, and working with a dedicated testing team
• Knowledge of dashboard and report design using PowerBI, Superset, or SSRS
• Experience running workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Position details:
