Qualifications and skills

• Grade 12
• National diploma in hotel catering or equivalent
• Good finance acumen with attention to detail regarding food costs
• Eight years’ experience in catering/industrial field/resale
• Valid driver’s licence
• Managerial experience
• Adaptability to various working areas and conditions
• Clean criminal record
• Fluent in English
• Must be able to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily communication with heads of departments and superiors
• Control processes related to cost of sales (COS) to achieve monthly budgets
• Ensure daily sales align with income statements
• Verify hygiene standards and food quality align with company standards
• Monitor training needs and ensure on-the-job training is conducted by relevant personnel
• Verify all human resources processes are managed effectively
• Verify the accuracy of supplier invoices and stock system data
• Oversee handover, reporting, and control documentation
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene processes and procedures are managed in compliance with standards
