Dotsure Ltd is on the lookout for a proactive marketing channel manager to lead our pet marketing department. If you’re passionate about building strong customer relationships and delivering smart, data-driven marketing strategies, this role could be the ideal fit for you.

As our pet marketing channel manager, you’ll act as a consultant to partners in the pet direct, pet partner, and vet channels, driving demand and delivering targeted campaigns through expert channel planning. You’ll develop strategies to increase customer engagement, build personal relationships, and align marketing efforts with our channel goals. With an eye on the ground to scope out competition and an eye on the sky to identify opportunities and partnerships, you’ll help propel our brand to new heights—all from the stunning heart of the Garden Route.

This is a permanent position based in George, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Act as a marketing consultant to Pet Direct, pet partners, and vet channels, driving demand generation activities.
• Develop and manage internal and external customer relationships.
• Prepare action plans by account.
• Assist in developing and implementing targeted marketing plans as needed by internal and external stakeholders.
• Business alignment: apply key business strategy focus areas into account planning and daily delivery.
• Channel alignment: build an account plan closely aligned to the channel strategy and develop strategic principles specific to each account.
• Establish internal service level standards with network, support, and solutions teams to ensure the total customer partner experience.
• Create and conduct proposal presentations.
• Build personal relationships with key staff within each channel.
• Oversee execution of co-marketing activities by partners and vendor agencies.
• Track and monitor campaign performance.

Minimum requirements

• Relevant marketing diploma
• Three to five years of professional partner/channel/distributor marketing experience, from strategy to execution, in a highly driven digital environment
• Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to work in an international virtual team alongside marketing, sales, and product specialists, as well as business partners
• Extensive experience with the digital marketing mix, with the ability to consult and advise partners on their marketing strategy and execution to drive pipeline growth
