Sales Representative - Chemical Manufacturing

Our client specialising in TDI (Toluene Diisocyanate) and Polyurethane Foam products (foam and mattress Industry) is expanding their operations and looking for a experienced and motivated sales representative who can effectively promote and sell their range of polyurethane and TDI products to various industries in Gauteng/Jhb.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Travel extensively within Gauteng/Jhb to meet with clients and prospects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential and existing customers.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Provide feedback and reports on sales performance, customer needs, and market conditions to management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.

Minimum requirements and qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the chemical industry or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of TDI and Polyurethane products and their applications.
• Diploma or degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business, or a related field will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Remuneration:

• R28,000 Basic Salary + Commission
• Fuel Allowance / Fuel Car
• Cell Phone / Cell Phone allowance
• Traveling Allowance
