HMD Global appoints new CMO

HMD Global has appointed Stephen Taylor as its new chief marketing officer. Taylor has almost 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, with his most recent role being CMO, EMEA at PayPal where he led a revamp of the company's digital marketing abilities. In his new role at HMD Global, Taylor will be accountable for the overall marketing strategy and execution for the portfolio of Nokia phones and will report to the chief executive officer Florian Seiche.

Seiche believes Taylor's invaluable experience and leadership abilities will help HMD Global deliver more impactful campaigns and broaden its impact on social media. Taylor commended on his appointment: "I am honoured, humbled, and thrilled to be joining HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones. During such unprecedented times for us all, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such a dedicated and passionate team and have already witnessed great collaboration in the face of uncertainty."
