Sidney Fhumulani Mikosi joins other tour guides at Robben Island

Sidney Fhumulani Mikosi, head guide at Marakele National Park will join other tour guides from across the country at the International Tourist Guide's day, taking place at Robben Island between 3 and 4 March 2017.

Mikosi joined the Marakele National Park in 2009 and has since won the national 2016 Lilizela Award, as well as the 2016 Limpopo Provincial Lilizela and SANParks' CEO awards.

The International Tourist Guide's day is commemorated each year with activities such as excursions and motivational talks to encourage everyone in the field.
