Two SA students to debate at Cornell University in New York
Two South African students - Isaac Sihlangu and Kiki Ncobo - will head over to New York to attend a week-long debate camp tournament at Cornell University in July 2019. They received the opportunity after winning the Pearson Institute of Higher Education (PIHE) and Cornell University's week-long debate camp tournament, which was held in Midrand, Johannesburg.
A total of 64 students from 12 Pearson Institute campuses and Cornell University attended the debate camp. The week-long event ended with awards held in celebration of the students who dedicated themselves to mastering the skills required to stand out above the crowd at various debating camps.
