Animal Legal Defense Fund takes Tillamook Dairy over co-op claims
Adweek reports that Tillamook has been taken to task over its claim that its products are supplied by small, family farms. The Animal Legal Defense Fund has brought a class-action lawsuit against the Oregon dairy company.
The complaint has been filed in the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon on behalf of several residents of the state. At issue is the brand's overall representation through its branding, marketing and social media channels.
