Tourism professionals urged to attend WTM Africa

Now in its third year and taking place 6-8 April 2016, B2B exhibition World Travel Market Africa hosts a nexus for the inbound and outbound African travel and tourism markets.

Through its industry networks, global reach and regional focus, WTM Africa creates personal and business opportunities providing customers with quality contacts, content and communities; all under one venue, the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

Networking opportunities

The event caters to both the inbound and outbound sectors of travel and tourism. Although the location is right at the southern tip of Africa, in the beautiful city of Cape Town, WTM Africa is just that, a show for Africa. Through the WTM Portfolio, the organisers have access to a large bank of buyers from across the globe and their policy has always been to bring new, quality buyers to the exhibitors.

Companies and organisations are exposed to many platforms through which to market their products and services. Matching the exhibitor clients with the right buyer, cuts through the clutter and ensures a profitable and worthwhile experience where business gets done and no-one's time is wasted.

Global reach

Exhibitors from Southern Africa, Continental Africa and international participants will be exhibiting, in addition international tourism boards, international hotel brands and product suppliers are encouraged to join in and benefit from quality appointments with buyers from all over the continent and beyond.

The three day event programme is packed with key and relevant seminars and presentations, by sought after speakers, on topics that are of relevance to the industry currently.

This year sees the introduction of the Travel Technology Show where visitors learn about the very latest in trends in relevant technology. The Responsible Tourism Awards will also be taking place at WTM Africa on 7 April.

Travel professionals from all over South Africa, Southern Africa and Continental Africa are urged to take advantage of this globally recognised brand right on their own doorstep.
