Engel & Völkers southern Africa nominated internationally

The performance of Engel & Völkers southern Africa has been acknowledged on the international sales arena of the Engel & Völkers group worldwide, by no less than three of their agents. "We at head office are indeed very proud of their achievements, especially when you take into account the strong competition they are up against," said Craig Hutchison, CEO of Engel & Völkers SA.

Every year the Engel & Völkers group headquarters in Hamburg, Germany collates data to determine the winners of the various categories. The awards are based on sales for the period 1 January to 31 December 2013.

For the second year in a row, Theo Volschenk from the Potchefstroom franchise, was nominated and this year he has won the category "Top Agent Unit Sales" - this being due to him achieving the highest number of points in this category internationally.

Ansa du Plooy, also from Potchefstroom, came sixth in the international rankings for the most number of units sold.

Daniël Gouws, a young rookie agent from the Pretoria New East franchise, came 10th in the international rankings also for the most number of units sold.

Well-known personalities

Every year the award function and prize giving is held in Majorca, at the coastline estate owned by Christian Völkers, CEO of Engel & Völkers International. "All three our nominees have been invited to this special event in July where they will be sharing the platform with all the other international winners and nominees, as well as mingling with many well-known personalities," Hutchison continued.
