WoodEX for Africa 2013 will be bigger, better

Bookings for exhibition space at WoodEX for Africa 2013, which will be held from 21 tot 23 March 2013 are now open. The event will again present a large indoor and outdoor exhibition with demonstrations, as well as activities such as timber games and chain saw competitions.

Following the success of the inaugural WoodEX for Africa Exhibition at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Gauteng, WoodEX for Africa will be back in 2013. WoodEX for Africa 2012 was received with enthusiasm by exhibitors, conference delegates, speakers and visitors, ensuring that this event will soon be among the finest of its kind anywhere in the world.

International visitors to WoodEX for Africa 2012 came from Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Sweden, India, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and the United States of America. The majority of the WoodEX visitors indicated that they were visiting WoodEX for Africa to evaluate new products and technology and to network. Other reasons for visiting the show included to find new suppliers, to find new customers and to explore import/export opportunities.

The main business activities of visitors to WoodEX for Africa 2012 varied from furniture manufacturers, contractors and installers, DIY, woodworking companies, traders in wood products and woodworking material and consumables to joinery companies, furniture component manufacturers, flooring companies, building material suppliers and dealers, importers and exporters of timber, and construction companies.
