Grand Gallery to showcase Leeorah Hursky

The Grand Gallery Boadicea will be opening its Grand Exhibition series by showcasing works of art and live painting sessions by South African Leeorah Hursky throughout February, 2011.

Inspired by the unique concept of the Grand Café, Rooms and Beach, as well as her forthcoming role in the Canadian production Abused in America, Hursky's collection is entitled "Juicy" and presents evocative and vibrant pieces, each one telling its own story.

The first of various artworks

"We are honoured to be one of the first venues to showcase Leeorah's work and look forward to engaging more with local talent and art followers. Leeorah's showcase will be the first of various artworks to be displayed as part of the Grand Exhibition at the Grand Gallery Boadicea," said gallery curator Jane Lello.

Hursky will also be conducting live painting sessions on the beach at the Grand Café and Beach at weekends in February, promising to deliver a rare and inspirational experience for visitors. A few special pieces of Hursky's "Juicy " collection, as well as her "African" collection, will be available for purchase at the Gallery Boadicea from where the exhibition will move to Monaco.
