And after great Balkan weddings, waking the beloved dead and most-recently bringing over the Balkan Beat Box to smash up the party scene, Balkanology now provides you the opportunity to connect with the ancient Greek gods. What better way to pay respects to the great battling Titans and Olympians than with the a band that merges electronica, drum 'n bass and folk, mixing modern technology and classic instruments like the violin and clarinet. The new and the old. The great and glorious. All combined with a few fun surprises in a melodious rhapsody designed to have you bouncing through the night.
Amongst the performers are Nomadic Orkestar and Toby2Shoes, a man who's seen Balkanology grow from a turntable and a tuba in a backyard chicken coup in Western Belgrade to the vast music scene it commands today.
