Double Adapter's Adapt Or Die documentary launched

Double Adapter's Adapt Or Die is a documentary filmed on European tour, consisting of six one-minute video inserts that sum up the experience of each gig, and two 24-minute specials that together create one 48-minute show. The first episode will be launched at The Assembly, Cape Town, today, Friday, 20 May.

Double Adapter left for Europe on 14 April, 2011, armed with music, lights, visuals, and a camera. The documentary is the story of what they found there.

Filmed in the Holland, Austria, The Czech Republic, Italy and Germany, the documentary follows the chaotic and at times ethically questionable steps of the brothers, and will show African and world audiences that South African artists are here to stay, whether they are gigging at home, abroad, or invading your TV set and radio.

Raw but cinematic

The documentary is raw but cinematic. It's rock and roll. It's a mix of familiar and new faces and places. But most of all, its a look at electro music in a way that more and more South Africans are starting to see it. It is passion combined with art, it is the sound of youth, and it is an expression of what it feels like to let go.
