Mango Groove has been in the spotlight with their national "Big World Party" tour earlier this year. They have had shows in Zimbabwe, Windhoek, Mauritius and various festivals in South Africa recently. The band have also recorded their first live DVD (HD) at Carnival City in September. The DVD is due for release in April, 2011.

At the Kirstenbosch concert, fans will be treated to an early evening of non-stop Mango Groove hits spanning 25-years. Hits from their current album "Bang The Drum" will be included in the mix alongside perennial favourites such as: Special Star, Hometalk, Nice to See You, Moments Away and Dance Some More.

The 11-member band has remained remarkably true to its original line-up through the years: along with lead singer Claire Johnston, founder member and bassist John Leyden, Beaulah Hashe, Khanyo Maphumulo and the whole Mango party will be there to rock the crowds.

"Bang The Drum" is available in all stores nationwide. Also look out for two brand new videos of tracks from the album that will be released this month: Everyone`s Dancing and My Blue Ocean. A third video, Pretty, is in production for release in 2011.
