Edwards stole South Africa’s hearts and grabbed their attention with his unforgettable audition for The Voice SA. His rendition of Say Something has been watched on YouTube over two million times.

The accomplished singer-songwriter released his debut album, Silver Skies, in 2017. The first of five singles off the album, Sparks, topped the iTunes charts on the day of its release and earned him a Sama nomination for Best Adult Contemporary Album.

When McFadden visited South Africa on his honeymoon in 2002, he attended one of Edwards’s shows and was blown away by his talent. He immediately signed him and his former band to his own management and record label in Ireland.

The Brian McFadden - Soul Jam live tour sees the Irishman backed by a full nine-piece band. He will be performing tributes to the great soul artists including Otis Redding, Ray Charles, and Eddie Floyd. The set will, of course, also include some memorable Westlife hits.

“This is a project I have wanted to do for years as I love old-school soul, and I cannot wait to perform some of the great classics in South Africa,” he says. “I would love to collaborate with some of the amazing talent from there one day,” he added.
