We're definitely working towards another album at some point. The landscape has changed quite a lot in the last couple of years since we released 'Three Second Memory' and the industry isn't quite as geared for albums, so we have been concentrating on releasing new singles and remixes every couple of months, which may culminate in a body of work that is basically an album. It's just whether you want to release it all as one bang or in instalments. But yes - an album is in our cross hairs.
We've been touring so much this year through the States and Europe that our live show is feeling super lean and mean. It's something we really focus on and we always put in 1000% into every show. So expect a powerful, uplifting, rad time. That's what we'll be having.
Always dig watching PHFat and Niskerone for their incredible energy, but sometimes it's the artists you don't know that are the ones that surprise you the most. Al Bairre are playing on the 31st, so we'll miss them, but have been hearing great things. Next time.
We are super busy that time of year so we'll be blitzing off to Ballito for a show there New Year's and then back to Cape Town for the Pacha Day Party on 1 January. It's basically a three-day party for us. Milk Thistle to the rescue.
Do less, achieve more.
Intense.
Autograf, EDX, Stimming, Matthew Herbert, and lots of trad old-school jazz in-between, like Joshua Redman, Brad Meldau and Ella Fitzgerald. Yin and Yang.
More touring, more music, more surfing and amongst all the more - a little more.
