Interestingly enough some of the big clubs has been very quiet, probably keeping their overall plans for the next season on the down low. In my opinion the only team that does not need to change will be Arsenal; a young side with amazing talent, all they have to do is gain experience. The growth of the team will definitely be interesting to watch next season.
Some big names like Robinho of Manchester City will be staying at the City of Manchester Stadium. Meanwhile on the opposite end of Manchester, the now unofficial second best player in the world Cristiano Ronaldo is flying under the radar. Is he going? Is he going to stay? Not even Ferguson knows.
The surprising part of this year's transfer season is the Bafana midfielder Elrio Van Heerden moving to Blackburn Rovers! There he will be joining fellow S.A “patriot” Benni McCarthy. This is Sam Allardyce's (Blackburn Coach) first signing of the summer. Hopefully Van Heerden won't be infected by stardom like some S.A players in the Barclays. Allardyce needs a work horse player like Van Heerden, last season saw Blackburn lacking a bit in the midfield. Van Heerden will be joining Blackburn from Belgian side Club Brugge on a free transfer.
Oh yes! About free transfers, Tevez is now a free man and yet there are no real bids. All we heard in the news and from friends, who think they know the Barclays, are rumours. I've left my dream team side for Rafa on the Liverpool site. The only difference is that Tevez and David Silva are there. Liverpool fans - let us hope that he listens. For next year its scousers year!
