New features for The Cape Town Tens

The Cape Town Tens, the world's biggest Tens tournament, is just one month away, as the tournament kicks off at Hamilton's Rugby Club with a Gala Dinner on Thursday, 6 February and the rugby and netball games on 7 and 8 February, 2014. There will be 100 social rugby teams playing up to 800 games over the weekend, as well as the addition of 40 netball teams.
New features for The Cape Town Tens

The tournament will be celebrating its six-year anniversary in 2014 and has plenty of exciting new features planned. Apart from the rugby and netball action there will be more on offer for the whole family including a revamped kiddies play area with child minders, jumping castles and magicians as well as specific rugby, netball and cricket clinics tailored for the kids. In addition to this there will be plenty more food options with the new 450m² Food Lovers' Market tent, a massive beer tent and live entertainment throughout the day by Tens favourites Me & Mr Brown and DJ Sox, who will be keeping energies high throughout the weekend.

International and South African rugby legends

Over the course of the weekend you can catch 2000 rugby players taking to the field, spread over seven divisions, whilst 400 netball players will compete across four divisions. You also get the chance to rub shoulders with various international and South African rugby legends, such as John Smit, Butch James, Percy Montgomery, Carlos Spencer, Justin Marshall and, of course, Tens founders Bob Skinstad and Rob Fleck.

Partnerships with Cape Town Tens have recently been announced with SA food retailers Food Lovers' Market, supply chain and logistics management company UTi, BLK apparel and media partners FHM setting the stage for an even bigger event in 2014 than before.
