A feast of olives at the Riebeeck Valley Olive Festival

The Olive Emporium, located in the centre of Riebeek Kasteel, will host local South African olive producers who have a wide array of produce to sample and to purchase - all under one roof. The well-known Riebeek Valley wines from the local cellars, artisanal beers, an abundance of good local food and live entertainment will be available at the emporium throughout the weekend of 3 and 4 May, 2014.

From the centralised Olive Emporium you can make your way on one of the free shuttles and tractor trips to the other participating venues where a wide array of olive produce, olive body products, entertainment, food and good old-fashioned and down-to-Earth Riebeek hospitality awaits.

An early-bird passport, which includes a complimentary tasting glass, valid for the entire weekend, will give you access to the participating wine farms, the Olive Emporium and the Olive Boutique. A passport can be bought for R100 online via www.webtickets.co.za or on the day at the eight participating venues, including the Olive Emporium.

• Mount Abora;
• Pulpit Rock;
• Riebeek Cellars;
• The Olive Boutique; and
• The Olive Emporium.
