One fun Swoop

Swoop tells the story of Sam, an imaginative 12-year-old boy who loves football, gadgets, and cars. Alas, with a mother too busy and no friends in sight, he has nobody to share his passions with. But all that changes when he meets Jabu, who helps Sam realise that a bit of perseverance, a dash of determination, and a whole lot of courage can overcome the greatest obstacles and make his dreams come true.
An enchanting adventure
Produced by the Imbewu Trust and directed by the acclaimed Pieter Bosch Botha, Swoop features young performers Shaun Acker, Iman Isaacs, Harrison Makubalo, and Shaun Gabriel Smith. The show is also presented by some of Cape Town's leading creative talent and told using a highly crafted blend of puppetry, audio-visual, live music, and a beautiful narrative. All in all, it promises to be an enchanting adventure for young and old alike!
Swoop is showing at the Kalk Bay Theatre in Cape Town from 28 September to 7 October. Tickets cost R60 and are available from www.kbt.co.za.
