Students to exhibit designs at Cape Town Fashion Show

The Cape Town College of Fashion Design Annual Fashion Show, at which the college's students will exhibit what they have designed throughout the year, will be held at the Cape Town City Hall, 2nd Floor Events Hall on Tuesday, 29 November 2011.

This show will feature:


  • First Year's Range: Basics
  • Second Year's Range: Leisurewear, lingerie and cocktail wear
  • Third Year's Range: Tailoring, draping, woven textiles, evening wear, bridal wear
  • Fourth Year's Range
  • Plus award-winning garments from the Foschini FAD Awards and Durban July Finalists, SA Fashion Week and Cape Town Fashion Week.

Media, buyers and fashion industry representatives will be present from well-known, reputable companies, which include:


  • Marie Claire
  • Cosmopolitan
  • Seventeen Magazine
  • O-Magazine
  • Elle
  • Various newspapers
  • I-fashion Industry website
  • Members of Foschini
  • Members of Woolworths
  • Members of the Cape Town Fashion Council
  • Various designers

Models will be cast from various agencies. Professional hair and make-up will be done by the Carl Isaacs Institute, photographic work will be done by Simon Deiner, a Fashion Week photographer, and event management by Devon Anderson Concepts.

The event starts at 6pm for VIPs and graduate parents, and 8pm for the general public.
