Teleseminar reveals 'new rules' for pursuing B2B sales

In what may be a trend among authors who wish to stay close to their readers, Bill Caskey, author of Same Game New Rules and many other sales training products, is presenting a one-hour complimentary teleseminar called 'The New Rules Workshop' on 10 August 2007, from 9 - 10am EST.

"This idea came to me when I randomly called a few people who had bought my book. It was really their suggestion. They told me they had read the book, but still had some questions about how to implement the content in their world. And, the teleseminar was born."

Caskey knows his readers. He's trained thousands of B2B sales people in hundreds of industries since 1989. His content is counterintuitive - sometimes controversial - but always a discussion-starter among sales managers and their people.

He says, "The New Rules of Selling start with how a sales person thinks about their very role as a sales professional. Most mistakenly believe their role is to convince prospects to buy. But that's absurd. Sales people who take that approach are met with resistance at every turn. Why would you approach a prospect with a method that causes them to resist?"

Caskey anticipates a large turnout for the free teleseminar - and that's OK with him. "I really can't limit it to prior readers only. So my invitation is to all sales professionals and their sales managers - who want to view a different sales model for B2B selling than they might be accustomed to. Plus, I will take emailed questions from our audience on selling situations they struggle with."
