With nine of Mzansi's finest artists warming up the stage in a festival type environment, the excitement was palpable as Pharrell Williams and Shay Haley took the stage to showcase their unique blend of rock, funk and hip hop.
The Tour, conceptualised and executed by 34 as a platform for rising musical talent, as well as an opportunity for Hansa consumers to engage with the brand has been well received in the market, reinforced by constant interaction via digital, social and supporting above the line media. The 12th February concert marked the 15th event in the summer Tour, which had included future legends Futuresound, Kwela Tebza and Zuluboy, as well as crowd pleasers DJ Tira and Malaika. Ntando once again showed why he has made his mark in the industry with a powerful vocal set while newcomers Freedom and Vusi continue to impress. Each Tour event was an invitation-only affair - the only way to win tickets was via the various interaction points developed by 34.
This foray into music was a first for Hansa Pilsener, and with the successful 'Legends in the Making' campaign almost behind them, the future looks just as bright for the brand and 34 as the lights that filled the arena on Saturday night.
