Entrants in the professional agency categories stand the chance of winning a sought-after gold Pendoring award, a wad of cash (R6 000), a framed certificate and, for the overall winner, an overseas study tour of R25 000.
The overall winner in the student category will walk away with a R10 000 study bursary, a gold Pendoring award and an internship at Draftfcb.
On top of that, the advertiser of the overall winner and recipient of the Prestige Prize, will receive free advertising space/airtime in the amount of R2,5 milliion from Pendoring partners including DEKAT, kykNET, Media24, OFM, Wiel, Oracle Airtime Sales and SABC Radio Airtime.
Brilliant Afrikaans advertising commercially published, announced or broadcast between 1 July 2009 and 30 August 2010 to a noteworthy audience in South Africa and surrounding areas is eligible for entry in all categories. However, all brilliant South African advertising may be entered in the category Truly South African. This means that all World Cup related entries are more than welcome in this category.
Prospective entrants should please note that no further extensions will be given and that entries must be submitted by the final deadline on 30 August 2010.
Judging takes place on 10 and 11 September 2010 and the finalists will be announced towards the end of September 2010. The glittering Pendoring awards evening where the winners will be announced, takes place on 29 October 2010 at Vodaworld, Midrand.
