For the second consecutive year New Media has received more nominations than any publishing house in the country, with fourteen journalists nominated as finalists in the 16th Annual Mondi Paper Magazine Awards.

"We are extremely lucky to work with the country's top writers," said newly appointed INSIG editor Izelle Venter, "and it comes hot on the heels of the relaunch earlier this week, of our exciting new-look magazine."

At the 2005 Mondi Awards, two journalists and a photographer from New Media stable, Frederick van Zyl Slabbert, Maranda Engelbrecht and Nick Aldridge scooped the coveted Features, At Home and Photography categories respectively.
