DevOps Engineer

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 5+ years DevOps experience, ideally within a SaaS environment
• AWS mastery: EKS, EC2, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM (5+ years hands-on)
• Kubernetes and Docker: Advanced experience managing and scaling containerized systems
• CI/CD excellence: 2+ years building and maintaining pipelines; GitHub Actions & ArgoCD are advantageous
• Infrastructure-as-Code: 2+ years with Terraform
• Scripting proficiency: Shell scripting & Python
• Architect-level problem solving: Proven ability to design scalable, reliable cloud architecture for SaaS applications
• Strong collaborator: Excellent communication, self-driven, thrives in high-pace startup environments
• Observability tooling: 2+ years with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry solutions

This is a permanent role, based in Johannesburg (Hybrid), offering a competitive CTC of R1.2m per annum, negotiable based on your experience and skill.
