Job description
Lecture relevant subjects in Commerce Teaching and Learning- Deliver engaging lectures in Commerce-related subjects within a blended contact environment.
- Conduct assessments, including marking and moderation, in line with institutional standards.
- Uphold quality assurance processes to maintain academic excellence.
- Provide student support to foster success and retention.
- Contribute to curriculum development, review, and transformation to ensure relevance and inclusivity
Research- Produce accredited publications in the field of commerce/management.
- Demonstrate thought leadership within higher education and industry.
- Conduct applied research to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Potential to supervise postgraduate students.
- Pursue ongoing postgraduate studies in the discipline
Academic citizenship- Engage in community outreach and academic–industry partnerships.
- Strengthen industry liaison and maintain professional networks.

Minimum requirements
• Minimum NQF Level 9 qualification in management.
• Demonstrated lecturing experience in a blended learning environment, including the use of learning management systems (LMS)
and platforms such as MS Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom.
• Relevant industry experience in business, ideally with active membership in a recognised professional body or industry organisation.
Knowledge and skills

• Prior lecturing experience at university or college level will be considered advantageous.
