Qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12
• N6 Mechanical Engineering
• N6 Electrical/ electronic engineering – Light and Heavy Current
• Conversant in at least 2 languages
• Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Word
• Attention to detail
• Good people skills
• Ability to cope with unusual work schedules
• Team player
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Valid driver licence

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical engineering
• Test and evaluate theoretical designs
• Assist in Project drawing
• Assist in Analysing and testing protypes and each revision of a device
• Assist in evaluating final products overall performance, reliability and safety
• Electrical/Electronic engineering
• Designing engineering experiments
• Creating accurate project specifications
• Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings
• Inspecting electrical component during and after product installation
• Testing electronics for problems and proposing solutions
