SSRE/DevOps Engineer (12 month contract) - Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SSRE) / DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Implement best practices for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency in cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct security assessments and advise on and implement measures to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Azure Bicep, and Powershell.
• Develop tools and libraries in Python / PySpark for use in Databricks environments.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources through CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure cloud services.
• Solid experience in designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Azure Bicep, and Powershell.
• Strong development skills, particularly in Python and PySpark, with hands-on experience in Databricks environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and deployment in Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
