Personal Lines Insurance Administrator
Our insurance broker client is looking for a
personal lines insurance administrator to join their offices in
Pretoria East.
Requirements:
- Matric
- RE5 qualification
- Effective Admin and time management are key
- Computer proficiency
- Min three years experience in personal lines
Insurance underwriters and administrators apply their knowledge of risk assessment to the applications (proposals) for insurance cover (risks) and decide if such proposals should be accepted and if so, what the terms of acceptance are to be. They must assess each risk according to its own unique characteristics and determine the likelihood of a claim being made against the policy by weighing up a number of factors and asking for comprehensive and detailed information relative to each prospective client. Underwriters must understand that each risk is unique. The aim is to minimise exposure to losses while at the same time offering the client a cost effective and comprehensive policy of insurance.
