Our client seeks an experienced information engineer - data quality and master data management to lead efforts in ensuring data integrity and governance across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and enforce data quality standards and policies.
• Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.
• Monitor data quality metrics and deliver actionable insights.
• Design and maintain master data models, hierarchies, and business rules.
• Ensure the creation of a single source of truth for critical business data.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support MDM processes.
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement data integration workflows using tools like Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
• Maintain metadata management and data cataloguing using Microsoft Purview.
• Configure and manage tools such as Profisee, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for data solutions using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business tea

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
  Minimum seven-plus years in Data Quality, MDM, or Data Integration roles.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI.
• Experience with Profisee and Microsoft Purview (preferred).
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance regulations.

The Reference Number for this position is NG59835 which is a Permanent Hybrid position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company of R450 to R650 per hour negotiable on experience and ability.
