ey Roles and Responsibilities:Please note that while this programme has been offered for two years, it is still relatively new. As a result, there is limited content and, in some cases, no assessments currently available. The successful candidate will be expected to develop these materials.
Module Coordinator:• Preparation/updating (including module review)/ authoring/ coordination of new and existing material (including lesson plans and teaching materials)
• Maintain the core VLE (Canvas) environment (including student surveys) for the module to ensure parity of content and offering across sites of delivery.
• Preparing/finalising all the assessments for the module.
• Drafting the assessment strategy and maintaining the Assessment Guideline document
• Managing the external moderation process (pre- and post-assessment).
• Quality assurance of the module content and offering.
• Action module-specific outcomes from student surveys.
• First-level sign-off of the marks for the module and presentation to the next level.
• Conduct success and throughput analysis for the module.
• Promoting industry liaison for the module.
• Finalising the academic calendar for the module.
• Setting the criteria for RPL approval.
• Chair the regular Lecturers’ Forum, when required, for the module to ensure collective feedback.
• Have input into the appointment and performance management of staff who will be teaching the module
Lecturer: • Teaching (Face-to-face and Online) and Assessment for allocated modules.
• Compile teaching, learning, and supportive assessment materials for modules.
• Quality Assurance of teaching and assessment materials

• Carry out allocated internal moderation responsibilities.
• Assist with validation processes of programmes with various governing bodies as and when required.
• Attend weekly academic meetings and training when necessary.
Minimum Requirements • Minimum three years of industry experience, working on a range of projects from design to execution.
• Teaching experience will be advantageous.
• Application is to be accompanied by a CV and evidence of work (no more than ten pages) to demonstrate skillset and experience.
Qualifications and Experience:• Minimum NQF 8 (Honours) in Architecture
• Professional SACAP registration is required.
