Retailer Faithful to Nature held the inaugural Force of Nature event at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on 12 May. The event was aimed at inspiring broader talks and action around the plastic crisis and environmental conservation. It featured four inspiring women - Xoli Fuyani (environmental education project manager at Earthchild Project), Yola Mgogwana (high school student and activist), Aaniyah Omardien (founder and director of The Beach Co-op) and Robyn Smith (Faithful to Nature founder) - leading the charge in sustainability. World Wildlife Fund SA's ambassador, Kia Johnson, was the MC of the event, with the speakers calling for individuals, organisations and communities to support their efforts to save and protect planet Earth.
