Export Competitiveness Enhancement Project Manager

Job description

The services of an experienced project manager are required to provide a full project management service to meet the project’s requirements as per the detailed outline of project activities.  The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate the following:

• All project activities including the provision of services from CDI internal and external service providers
• Project participant cohorts including recruitment, onboarding, tracking and oversight of participation through the process and maintain participant database
• The collection of project feedback and evaluation data for project improvements and reporting and the gathering and archiving all project related documentation
• The collection and submission of invoices and tracking of expenditure against the project budget
• Oversee the compliance with reporting and evidence submission timelines for programme reporting and evaluation

The project includes the delivery of the following activities:

• Participant management
• Organise a programme of workshops, to be followed by individual consultations
• Organise panel discussions for broader audiences (60 pax) focusing on international product testing, certification and standars for international market access, as well as technology improvements to improve competitiveness and production capacity including new tech and AI
• Organise webinars for broader audience focusing on various, previously identified topics
• Coordination of delivery support services
• Project reporting

A service level agreement for the duration of the contract will be entered into with the successful candidate.

Requirements

The successful incumbent should have the following:

• A Project Management qualification
• At least 3 - 5 years project management experience
• Experience in areas focusing on export competitiveness will be an advantage
• The ability to take initiative and have good decision-making skills
• Excellent report writing and budget management skills are essential
