Job description1. Market research and insights- Conduct research on target audiences, competitors, and industry trends
- Gather and analyse customer data (demographics, behaviour, preferences)
2. Campaign support and execution- Help plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, social, retail, events)
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders
- Assist with product launches, promotions, and brand activations
- Ensure campaigns align with overall brand strategy
- Monitor campaign performance (e.g. engagement, conversions, ROI)
- Compile reports and dashboards for management and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
3. Content and channel coordination- Work with the Marketing team to produce marketing content
- Help manage social media calendars and email campaigns
4. Content management- Sourcing and uploading images + features to ensure visibility of products and stock levels across the B2B channel
- Monitor product images and content on the company’s website
- Pulling stock from CT to photograph for online use when necessary
- Syspro – amending stock code setups for online visibility
5. Strategy support- Assist in developing marketing strategies and plans
- Contribute ideas for campaigns, promotions, and brand growth
- Support segmentation, targeting, and positioning efforts
6. Events- Organise and co-ordinate launches and events for portfolio brands from conception to completion, the main events being the Cape Town Cycle Tour Souvenir Store and the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo (D’Arcs / Cannondale)
- Manage all event logistics – staffing, accommodation, transport
- Gathering post event reports for reconciliation purposes (Yoco payments, Vend inventory and sales reports) and reconning cash transactions post event
- Preparing equipment for various small events (Epic, W2W etc)
7. Customised product- Work with the designers to produce artwork for a specific product as per customer request
- Obtain quotes and liaise with clients for sign-off
- Obtain stock and book with printers
- Generate invoice once completed and when payment is made, organise delivery to client.
8. Sourcing of marketing materials (promotional items, stickers, packaging etc)- Obtain quotes and submit a brief to the design team for artwork generation
- Order materials once signed off and distribute to stores and reps

- Graphic Design experience
- Knowledge of cycling (advantageous)
- Photography skills (advantageous)
- Driving license is mandatory
