Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience to design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines, data models, and backend systems that support scalable analytics and business intelligence. You will work end-to-end on projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the evolution of our data architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and backend data solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modeling.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate and manage RESTful APIs for data processing and service connectivity.
• Apply CI/CD workflows and version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) to ensure deployment quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and prompt engineering is a plus.

Qualifications and experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration best practices.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong grasp of SDLC principles and clean, maintainable code.
• Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end and work independently.
