Role SummaryThe Graphic Designer at Eastvaal Motors is responsible for producing high-quality, brand-compliant creative assets that support marketing campaigns across more than 30 automotive brands. This in-house role focuses on fast, accurate execution of templated and campaign-based design work, ensuring all creative materials meet OEM standards, align with campaign objectives, and are delivered within tight deadlines.
Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and the broader marketing team, the designer translates briefs into effective visual assets that support lead generation, brand visibility, and overall campaign performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Creative Production and Execution- Design digital and print-ready marketing assets across multiple platforms and formats.
- Produce static social media ads, carousel creatives, display ads, email banners, and promotional materials.
- Adapt OEM-supplied templates into localised campaign creatives.
- Resize, format, and version artwork for multiple channels and specifications.
- Write short-form marketing copy for ads, social posts, banners, and promotional creatives.
- Edit and assemble basic marketing videos for digital campaigns and social platforms.
- Ensure all artwork adheres strictly to OEM brand guidelines.
- Deliver high volumes of work quickly without compromising accuracy or quality.
Campaign Support- Interpret marketing briefs and translate them into effective visual communication.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to support campaign objectives.
- Ensure all assets are delivered in accordance with media deadlines.
Brand Compliance and Quality Control- Maintain strict adherence to brand standards across 30+ automotive brands.
- Ensure artwork accuracy including pricing, disclaimers, and campaign-specific details.
- Conduct thorough final checks before submission to confirm files are production-ready.
Workflow and Efficiency- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying deadlines.
- Work efficiently within templated frameworks and structured campaign formats.
- Maintain organised file structures and version control across all projects.
Skills and Competencies- Strong layout and typography skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a high-output environment.
- Strong time management and task prioritisation skills.
- Ability to follow and apply structured brand guidelines across multiple brands.
- Team player with good communication skills and adaptability to feedback.
Technical Requirements- Proficiency in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design software.
- Proven experience preparing assets for both digital and print formats.
- Understanding of platform specifications for social media and digital advertising.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and campaign objectives.
Advantageous- Experience using AI-assisted design tools.
- Exposure to automotive or multi-brand environments.
- Motion graphics or basic animation capability.
QualificationsRelevant qualification in Graphic Design or Visual Communication (required).
