About the Role
Topco Media is seeking a passionate and organised Junior Podcast & Content Producer to take ownership of the end-to-end production process of our flagship podcast series, Business Unusual.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is enthusiastic about storytelling, business leadership, and digital content creation. You’ll be responsible for coordinating guests, managing production logistics, assisting with recording and editing, and ensuring the
successful delivery and promotion of each episode. You’ll also contribute to growing the audience, increasing views, listens, and social media engagement across all podcast platforms.

Key Responsibilities
● Manage the full production lifecycle of the Business Unusual podcast series from planning and pre-production to recording, editing, publishing, and post-promotion.
● Coordinate with guests, hosts, and internal teams to schedule recordings, brief participants, and manage logistics.
● Assist with audio recording and editing, ensuring professional-quality output.
● Research topics, trends, and potential guests relevant to the Business Unusual theme.
● Write episode descriptions, show notes, and promotional content for various digital platforms.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to promote episodes and drive audience engagement.
● Grow podcast views, listens, and followers across platforms through creative content distribution and analytics-driven strategies.

● Capture and edit short-form video or audio snippets for social media and marketing campaigns.
● Track performance metrics and contribute ideas to improve reach and engagement.
● Support other content projects and initiatives within Topco Media when required.

Requirements
● A relevant degree or diploma in Media, Journalism, Communications, Film, Sound Engineering, or related field.
● Strong interest in podcasting, business storytelling, and digital media.
● Basic skills in audio production software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar).
● Excellent organizational and communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
● Strong writing and research abilities.
● Familiarity with social media trends and audience growth strategies.
● Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
