Our client a leading and fast expanding commercial financial services entity, seeks to appoint an experienced Commercial Sales Consultant who will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition, development, and retention of a strong commercial client base. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with clients, dealers and brokers, structuring and managing finance transactions, and supporting the broader sales and marketing initiatives of the Group.

The consultant will act as a key point of contact between clients, suppliers, financial institutions, and internal teams, ensuring that finance applications are processed efficiently, opportunities are maximised, and client service standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development
  • Proactively identify, acquire, and develop new commercial clients.
  • Grow and manage a sustainable and profitable client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and referral partners.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Finance Application Management
  • Prepare, submit, and manage finance applications with banks and financial partners.
  • Liaise with internal credit team /funders to ensure competitive pricing, fast turnaround times, and deal approval.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all finance-related documentation.

Client and Supplier Relationship Management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business and funding needs.
  • Maintain regular engagement with suppliers to support deal flow and partnership growth.
  • Ensure a high standard of service delivery and client satisfaction.

Sales Operations and Administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, sales pipelines, and supplier reports.
  • Track deal progress and ensure timely follow-ups and conversions.
  • Support internal reporting and sales performance tracking.

Marketing and Brand Support
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, branding activities, and event coordination where required.
  • Represent Intello Group professionally at client meetings, events, and industry engagements.
  • Support lead-generation efforts in collaboration with the marketing team.

General Support
  • Assist with broader administrative and sales-related tasks within the asset finance environment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

 

Requirements
  • BCom Degree/Diploma (advantageous)
  • NCR accreditation (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license & own vehicle

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a new business development environment within the commercial sector
  • Must have strong ‘hunter’ persona.
  • Sound negotiation skills.
  • Client centric with emphasis on developing lasting business partnerships.
  • Energetic, self-disciplined, and professional
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fully literate on Ms Office Suite
