We’re looking for a
Junior Commercial Analyst who knows how to turn data into direction. Someone who doesn’t just report on performance but helps shape it.
This role sits at the intersection of
finance, sales, and strategy. You’ll analyse what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what we should do next. Real insights. Real impact.
What you’ll be doingCommercial and financial analysis- Analyse sales, revenue, cost and profitability trends.
- Support pricing decisions, margin analysis and cost drivers.
- Track KPIs and support forecasting and financial models.
Market and competitor intelligence- Research market trends, competitors and customer behaviour.
- Identify risks, opportunities and commercial blind spots.
- Back strategy with data, not opinion.
Reporting and insights- Build dashboards and reports that decision-makers actually use.
- Translate numbers into clear, actionable insights.
- Support management presentations and commercial reviews.
Strategy and business support- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Support business cases, growth initiatives and commercial projects.
- Analyse promotions, pricing and sales performance with sales and finance.
Stakeholder collaboration- Work cross-functionally to support growth initiatives.
- Provide analytical input into contracts, suppliers and investments.
- Be the go-to data support for commercial decision-making.
What you’ll needEssential qualifications- BCom degree or data-related qualification
- (Finance, economics, statistics, business analytics or similar).
Skills and experience- Strong analytical mindset — you enjoy working with data.
- Solid Excel skills and exposure to financial models and reporting.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills — you can explain numbers in plain language.
- Commercial curiosity — you understand how numbers link to real business outcomes.
